WHO?
Pianist Joe LoCascio and saxophonist Woody Witt have performed together for nearly 20 years. Their playing is documented on a number of CDs - "Woody Witt" (self-titled debut cd, 2001), "Live at Cezanne" (Apria,2007), "Willows" (Apria, 2008) and most recently,"Seasons Ago" (Heart Music, 2009), covering the songs of Alec Wilder.

Drummer J.T. Bates and bassist Adam Linz are fixtures on the Minneapolis music scene and co-founders of the band, Fat Kid Wednesdays, also featuring saxophonist Mike Lewis. Bates is featured on Witt's CD "Live at Cezanne." Both Linz and Bates performed with LoCascio and Witt on a recent visit to the Twin Cities, at the nationally-known Dakota Jazz Club. The group chemistry and interplay between these 4 musicians is very strong.

They will be exploring many new compositions by LoCascio and Witt in addition to playing familiar standards. On this Texas tour, the group will also perform at Sam Houston State University, University of Texas Arlington, Cezanne and Houston Community College. The shows at HCC will be recorded for future release.
